Datum Advisory

Practice

Datum Advisory is an independent risk, governance and assurance practice working with boards, audit committees and executive teams.

01

Enterprise risk

Framework design, review and remediation against ISO 31000, COSO, HM Treasury Orange Book and Cabinet Office Management of Risk. Risk appetite and tolerance, taxonomy, register architecture, escalation thresholds, and the reporting line from business area to board.

02

Assurance

Second-line review of whether risks are under active management and whether the evidence supports what is being reported. Assessment of mitigation, control design and delivery confidence, and structured challenge to executive teams and audit committees.

03

Programme and project risk

Delivery confidence assessment, milestone and gate assurance, and portfolio-level risk reporting for organisations running concurrent major programmes.

04

Investment and transaction risk

Governance and risk review in an investment context: readiness for investor scrutiny, and independent assessment of governance structure, risk maturity, fiduciary architecture and compliance systems ahead of or during a funding round.

05

Board and committee reporting

Design of the architecture that carries risk information to boards and committees - what is escalated, in what form, at what threshold, and on what evidence.

06

Engagement

Work is taken as scoped, deliverable-based engagements, or as fractional and interim appointments. Contracted and delivered internationally.
